    China’s PV industry is moving for more progress since COVID-19 has been put under control in the country. Here comes a collection of PV industry hot spots in China by PV Guangzhou Committee.
     
    【Investment & New Project】
    Ø On April 17, Inner Mongolia Power issued the first-stage subsidy list of renewable energy power generation projects in its operating area, covering 33 projects with a total installed capacity of 1160.89 MW, 20 of which are PV projects (484.39MW) and 13 of which are wind power projects (676.5MW).
     
    Ø On April 14, JinkoSolar signed with Shangrao Economic and Technical Development Zone, investing a total of 14.5 billion yuan to build the R&D and production headquarters for 10GW high-efficiency PV modules, 10GW diamond wire wafers and 10GW high-efficiency cells. The construction is planned to start one month after the signing and to complete by the end of 2020.
     
    Ø On April 13, a signing ceremony for the G12 PERC + battery wire and imbricated modules project was held at the headquarter of Zhonghuan Semiconductor. Located at Gaoyou Economic Development Zone, the project covers the investment of 5 billion yuan and the construction area of about 85,000 sq.m.
     
    Ø On April 11, Energy Administration of Qinghai Province issued the 2020 work plan for PV parity projects, releasing that Qinghai plans to build 1.2 million KW of parity projects, 800,000 KW of which in Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and 400,000 KW in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Hainan.

    Ø On April 15, the National Energy Administration released information on household PV projects. As of the end of this March, the cumulative installed capacity of subsidy household PV projects in 2020 reached 258,900 KW, including 129,900 KW in Jan., 10,700 KW in Feb. and 118,300 KW in Mar.
     
    Ø On April 13, GD Power Development released its 2019 annual report, showing that the company achieved revenue of 116.599 billion yuan in last year, up 8.04% year-on-year. The company stated that in 2019, it had carried out a series of preliminary work on projects like PV and wind power in Central and Eastern Europe, Oceania, etc. In 2020, it will seek more overseas investment opportunities with the promotion of key projects.
     
    Ø This March, China exported a total of 7.46GW of PV modules, with a total value of $1.702 billion. Among them, JinkoSolar ranks first (985.27MW, $224 million), followed by JA Solar (884.95MW, $195 million) and Trina Solar (857.68MW, $194 million).
